What are the most influential types of VR?
- Non-immersive virtual reality is a term used to describe a computer-generated virtual world in which you can control some characters or activities, but the surroundings do not interact with you directly. For example, when we play video games such as World of Warcraft, where we can control the characters
- Fully immersive Virtual reality: ensure that a realistic experience is provided within the virtual world. It involves several equipment such as a helmets, gloves, and body connectors with sense detectors. For example, you can be a virtual shooter in a gaming zone where you feel that other shooters are trying to kill you.
- Semi Immersive virtual reality: This could take the shape of a self-navigating 3D room or virtual environment that you can access via a computer screen or a VR box/headset. Thus, everything that happens in the virtual world is focused on you. Other than what you see, you are not able to move physically.
